The RESILAND Consortium is pleased to announce the RESILAND Round Table Meeting/Seminar to take place in Brussels, 19th October 2015. The Round Table Meeting/ Seminar is organised within the framework of the EU-funded project ‘RESILAND – Participation, capacities and resilience of children on the move against trafficking and exploitation’.
RESILAND has been successfully conducted in Greece, France, Italy and Portugal over a two-year period involving a consultative process with children on the move as well as front-line staff and child rights advocates from 25 European countries. It aimed to enable and strengthen the participation, capacities and resilience of children on the move as a key investment for their protection from trafficking and exploitation.
The EU specialized Training courses of the RESILAND project took place in the last months, involving professionals coming from 24 European countries.
The first (4-days) training course took place from 3rd to 7th May 2015 in Italy near Turin at the historical premises of La Certosa 1515 (www.certosa1515.org). The second sessions held from 3rd to 7th June 2015 in Athens, at Piraeus.
